Purpose
The Manager, Accounts Receivable leads the Accounts Receivable (AR) team at Lighthouse. The AR team manages and improves our company’s AR processes, handles cash collections, maintains AR ledgers, and manages financial reporting and analysis related to AR.
The Manager, Account Receivable is responsibility for developing policies and procedures regarding bill payment, credit and collection activities, and billing investigations. Under the Manager’s guidance, the AR team manages a complex AR cycle that often involves multiple parties who review, approve, and pay our invoices. The team analyzes metrics to gain insights into AR dynamics, and uses the resulting insights to improve our AR cycle time and our company’s overall financial performance.
The AR team coordinates with the Accounting team to ensure that AR-related accounting is correct. The AR team also handles AR-related aspects of the month-end close.
There is a client-facing element, as well. The AR team sends invoices to clients and submits them into online billing systems, answers invoice-related questions, and reaches out to clients as needed to ensure that our invoices are paid in a timely manner.
The Manager coordinates and supervises the daily activities of the AR team. The Manager sets priorities, including metrics, for the team to ensure task completion, and coordinates work activities with other leaders. Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures, and business plans. The Manager receives guidance and oversight from the Billing Manager, Finance.

Working Conditions
General open office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an open office environment, with standard office equipment available.
