A well-established community management company in Sherman Oaks is seeking an experienced professional, with a keen eye for detail, a strong ability to multi-task, and excellent customer service skills, to join our team as an Accounting Assistant.
The Accounting Assistant must be familiar with basic accounting procedures. The ideal candidate must be able to process business transactions, handle accounts payable and receivable, invoice coding and reconciling, and other financial matters. Responsibilities include answering a heavy volume of phone calls and e-mails, responding to day-to-day inquiries, invoice processing, assist managers with audits and budgets, updating and tracking items in the database, creating communications and notices, filing, and mail distribution.
Candidates interested must possess the ability to work with a diverse team, are open to constructive criticism, are well-organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment, polished and punctual, with at least 3 years of customer service experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Experience in Accounting and HOA Management is strongly preferred but will gladly train the right candidate. As such, we are looking for the right candidate who has the right work ethic and will not only shine within our organization but also with our clients.
