For additional company information, please visit: www.mtsi-va.com Responsibilities Major Duties and Responsibilities: Candidate will work in a MAJCOM staff role and be responsible for monitoring, managing, integrating and coordinating AFGSC strategic programs to provide strategic integration analysis, support, and recommendations. Candidate will apply knowledge and operational experience to support the AFGSC Advanced Programs Division as required to assist in the development of strategic level briefings, documents, papers, positions or other to support AFGSC strategic vision, advanced technology integration and fielding support, and long-range strategic planning. Candidate will participate in wargaming exercises, attend conferences and technical reviews, support studies and analyses, as well as other activities to inform recommendations and development of long-range planning documentation to support future AFGSC policies, roadmaps, program decisions or other strategic documents. Candidate will assist in the identification and evaluation of requirements to support activities related to advanced technology/programs analysis and requirements, AFGSC force structure, requirements gathering, evaluation, and management, development and coordination of AFGSC strategic vision and future capabilities, policies and procedures development, change management for shifts in strategic vision, integration and fielding support, and long-range strategic planning. Candidate must be a high-performer, comfortable operating independently as well as in multidisciplinary teams of industry, government and military personnel consisting of engineers, analysts, scientists, and aircrew members. Qualifications Required Skills: Must be a strategic thinker, self-motivated, and able to work and integrate at a senior level within the AFGSC staff. Candidate shall have previous operational background/experience in nuclear and conventional topics at a senior or management level. Eighteen (18) months Special Access Program (SAP) experience is required. Candidate must have a strong ability to work in a team environment with demonstrated leadership and customer interface skills. The successful candidate should have good analytic skills, be capable of operating in a multi-tasking environment, and must have strong verbal and written communications skills. Candidate must be able to travel monthly. Desired Skills: Prior military Chief Master Sergeant/Lt Colonel/Colonel desired. Graduate of the USAF School of Advances Air and Space Studies (SAASS), Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), USMC School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW), Air Force Fellow or USAF Weapons School graduate highly desired. Recent knowledge and understanding of national, DoD and US Air Force statutory and regulatory policies, directives and procedures relating to AFGSC areas of interest, as well as experience on USAF MAJCOM or HQ staff highly desired. Education Requirements: Both a Bachelor's and Master's degree are required. Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen possessing an active Top Secret SCI Security Clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), SSBI Periodic Reinvestigation (SSBI-PR), or a Phased Periodic Reinvestigation or equivalent investigation current within 6 years. Additionally, requires (18) months experience working with Special Access Programs. Candidate will be subject to polygraph and drug testing upon request as a condition of employment. #LI-KJ1
