The Opportunity:
The Retail Sales Representative will ensure the execution of retail strategies in key grocery stores. The ability to develop relationships with store managers is critical to ensuring 100% distribution of all authorized items and merchandising and maintaining the in-store presence of client brands.

What You’ll Do:
- Retail Execution of the Retail Sales Plan within each retailer in the assigned territory.
- Selling and maintaining distribution of authorized products and displays in the assigned territory
- Maintain a high call frequency of calls per cycle, per retailer (+95%)
- Develop strong working relationships with retail decision makers that gain customer support of retail objectives
- Provide merchandising assistance to customers by building displays, negotiating placement, and replenishing permanent secondary displays, and using point of sale materials effectively
- Product rotation and merchandising to ensure salability of all products in the assigned territory.
- Utilize in the sales conversation all POS, Sales and Authorized Item Tools that are provided
- Report weekly activity, expenses, competitive activity, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within the assigned territory
- Provide support for clients at assigned trade shows
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management

What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of (3) years of Grocery/Retail experience
- A valid driver license and reliable transportation as position will require travel to multiple sites
- Ability to drive moderate distances to make multiple sales calls daily
- Excellent communication (both written & verbal), planning, and organizational skills and have a proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Must be able to operate a calculator, computer, printer, fax machine, telephone and copy machine
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Ability to work weekends on occasion
Bonus Points For:
- CPG retail experience in dairy and frozen
- Retail software proficiency
- Proficiency in using plan-o-grams
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
