Our client, a leading financial services firm located in Stamford, CT, is currently seeking an Office Assistant to provide general administrative support to the office as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional, well-rounded, adaptable and versatile candidate with at least two-to-three years of relevant work experience. An ideal candidate for this role must be flexible and team-oriented in addition to being able to handle an extremely fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls
- Greet all incoming visitors and handle any unexpected inquiries that may arise
- Order lunch for the office daily
- Maintain conference room schedules and booking as needed
- Coordinate all things related to ordering catered food for meetings (i.e. food setup and cleanup)
- Always make sure the kitchen is clean, stocked and organized throughout the day
- Order groceries several times per week while maintaining inventory to guarantee efficient orders
- Handle various email correspondence as needed
- Sort and distribute mail, prepare FedEx packages and receive both UPS and FedEx deliveries daily
- Keep office organized and neat throughout the day while ordering general office supplies as needed
- Perform special projects for the office and various departments throughout the office as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of administrative experience required
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency a must (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
