You will play a key role in maintaining manufacturing support equipment and optimizing the flow of the factory, working within our newly established Pilot Manufacturing facility in Menlo Park, collaborating with our highly talented team of mechanics and engineers to bring affordable, dispatchable, and clean energy to the world.
➢ Work with Pilot Manufacturing leadership on high priority projects to enhance the efficiency and uptime of our facility equipment
➢ Monitor key equipment for preventive maintenance needs, calibration, and re-certification requirements according to established schedules
➢ Assist in facilitating 5S initiatives that lead to the most efficient workflow
➢ Collaborate with coworkers to identify opportunities to improve safety and productivity
lean manufacturing, 5S, Maintenance, Facilities, calibration, assembly, inventory, forklift, fabrication, Facilities maintenance, Calipers, Machine maintenance
➢ Minimum of 3 years of experience with facility equipment set-up, maintenance, and repair.
➢ Experience in Lean manufacturing activities
➢ Ability to learn quickly, is self-motivated and safety oriented
➢ Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
➢ Metal fabrication, fixture assembly, and compressed air systems experience preferred
➢ Forklift certification preferred
