Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

We're looking for a Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator who is capable of interviewing and hiring excellent CAREGivers and training them up to provide world-class care for the seniors in our community. From conducting initial phone screens and interviews, to planning and executing job fairs, CAREGiver training and appreciation events, a successful Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator is driven by a genuine passion for finding and retaining excellent CAREGivers to care for our seniors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required: Valid driver's license, Excellent Driving Record and Background Record
• Required: High School diploma or the equivalent
• Required: 1 year experience in HR, Recruitment, or Training
• Required: Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information, and meet deadlines
• Required: Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work
• Required: Must have computer skills with the ability to learn new programs quickly
• Preferred: Degree in Human Resources or PHR

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment Responsibilities

• Answer each employment inquiry in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
• Develop and implement new recruitment strategies online and within the community.
• Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner.
• Following the Home Instead Senior Care Standards conduct reference checks, criminal background and motor vehicle check and drug screens on all CAREGivers.
• Create and maintain all employment records including but not limited to I-9 form, W-4 form and all other employment related documents.
• Work in partnership with the Scheduling Department to identify areas of Recruitment focus with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and extraordinary relationships.

Engagement Responsibilities

• Conduct CAREGiver orientation and all training including training required to meet Home Instead^® Standards and additional optional training.
• Develop engagement strategies to promote CAREGiver retention and satisfaction.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
