            Job Description

            Administrative Assistant with Emphasis on Benefits Berendsen Inc, a North American world-class hydraulics and pneumatics distributor, has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Human Resources/Benefits Department in the downtown Tulsa, OK corporate office. It is the talent, collective knowledge, training and experience of our employees that will enable us to move ahead. · Competitive salary · Company matching 401k · Comprehensive medical, dental and vision health insurance · Life insurance · Paid parking across the street · Holidays, vacation and sick days Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Entering data for new hires, existing employees and terminations into various systems Maintaining accurate records on employee benefits participation/eligibility data Track and report employee changes to payroll department Interact with management, employees and numerous outside services providers Process Benefits Department Invoices Update employee and dependent personal information Provide information to employees for Short and Long Term Disability, FMLA requests Distribution of COBRA notices Track leave of absence information/hours Audit employee data, identify and correct discrepancies Filing and record keeping, both paper and electronic Assist in meeting preparation, scheduling and creating materials and presentations Assist with annual audits and any plan filings Assist with requirements for safety tracking and OSHA filings Qualifications: General knowledge of health and retirement benefit plans; detail-oriented planning and organizational skills; possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to multi-task; pro-active and willing to follow-up; able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations. Requirements: HS Diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred. At least 1-2 years experience as an HR Assistant, Administrative Assistant or Office Admin.
