    Job Description

    Deliver products to established customers as determined by routes sent through the Logistics Center while operating and maintaining truck in a safe manner.

    • Deliver refined fuel and propane products as assigned by the logistics center
    • Complete daily routes as generated by the logistics center
    • Communicate any necessary route changes and/or issues directly to the operations manager
    • Operate vehicle safely, according to policies and guidelines set forth by law or by MFA Oil Company
    • Provide feedback to the operations manager regarding route efficiencies and customer needs
    • Properly use handheld systems for accurate deliveries
    • Follow policy on barcode usage
    • Communicate any issues as they relate to safety or efficiencies to the operations manager for both trucks and equipment
    • Inspect customer installations to assure safe, dependable operations, reporting any issues to the operations manager
    • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any truck safety issues immediately to the operations manager
    • Be knowledgeable about all products and services offered by company
    • Present a positive image of MFA Oil Company to the community
    • Support and understand company policies and procedures and be able to communicate those to customers as needed
    • Relay all customer inquiries to the operations manager and appropriate plant manager
    • Identify and inform the operations manager of additional training needs
    • Maintain all required certifications
    • Maintain truck in a neat and clean condition
    • In off-season delivery times, perform service work (tank set, tank painting, plant maintenance) as directed by the operations manager
    • All other duties assigned by the operations manager
    Job Requirements
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States of America
    • 18 years of age or older
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to move and position self to move and retrieve products and supplies from shelves, under counters or stacks of inventory weighing up to 100 pounds
    • Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
    • Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or sitting) for up to nine hours per shift
    • Ability to lift 25-pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet and load them into trucks
    • Ability to ascend and descend ladders in order to deliver fuel
    • Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
    • Vision, hearing, speech, and the ability to detect odors
    • Ability to consistently drive and work in outdoor weather conditions
    • Availability to work a rotating on-call schedule, holidays, weekends, and after regular business as needed
    • Willingness to work with hazardous materials
    • Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
    • Reliable transportation to work
    • Willingness to become propane (CETP) certified as determined by the state(s) you will service
    • Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within the first 60 days of employment, and maintain all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements
    • Ability to exchange accurate information with MFA Oil Company customers
    • Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), criminal background check, and MFA Oil Company road test
