This position manages the Learning Management System (LMS) for the Hybrid Learning Sustainable Educational Business Unit (SEBU). This position promotes and supports the effective use of instructional technology to enhance all aspects of teaching and learning. This position is responsible for developing, executing, and evaluating training for employees and students on instructional technology systems, including the LMS. The Instructional Technologist will work closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and others to provide general instructional design and development support for course content hosted on the college learning management system. Coordinates with instructional designer teams to build new course and performs other tasks pertaining to updating existing courses. As part of the Information Technology (IT) team, this position also provides first-tier support assistance for student and employee help desk tickets as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with experience in higher ed implementation. Experience with online content management software, specifically or equivalent to the Canvas LMS and Google drive. Ability to follow clear instructions and adhere to guidelines. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a strict attention to detail and consistency. Ability and willingness to work with students from a diverse political/socioeconomic backgrounds and a wide range of physical and academic abilities.
