Pacific Central Coast Health Centers
(PHC), a service of Dignity Health, is a non-profit clinic organization comprised of more than 30 community health centers located on the Central Coast in cities throughout Northern Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County and Ventura County. Our experienced doctors and family health centers provide a wide range of health care services that include family care as well as a number of specialty health care services. As a Dignity Health member, PHC is a part of Dignity Health Central Coast's award-winning network of outstanding hospitals, imaging centers, laboratories, post-acute centers, and expert physicians.
Dignity Health Central Coast is comprised of five hospitals, all recognized for their quality of care, safety and service, primary care offices, premier ambulatory surgery centers, technologically advanced imaging centers, outpatient services and comprehensive home health services. Hospitals in the Dignity Health Central Coast region include Arroyo Grande Community Hospital in Arroyo Grande, French Hospital Medical Center in San Luis Obispo, Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo and St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard. In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers health care philosophy, the Physician's Assistant is credentialed with advanced training in areas of primary health care for adult and pediatric patients, including, but not limited to: taking health history, performing physical examination and psycho-social assessments, management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Provides wellness care and urgent care in collaboration with physician members of health care team.
- Advanced training in physical assessment and pharmacology; continuing education in field of practice.
- Minimum five years experience in acute care facility, i. e., hospital; specialty training in areas of trauma/urgent care, pediatrics, and gynecology, minor office surgical procedures.
- PA State Certification.
