Title: Community Development Manager (Exempt) A. Primary Responsibilities: Identify potential donors, establish relationships and engage with the community while focusing on the mission of the organization. The manager will also be in charge of creating the annual fundraising plan and targeting: individuals, business, and community leaders for support. B. Immediate Supervisor: President/CEO C. Essential Job Functions: 1. Create and manage donor pipeline with specific donor goals and objectives. 2. Create donor segment strategy. 3. Identify opportunities to engage new and past donors with agency's programs. 4. Host donors during special events. 5. Create annual fundraising plans and programs to drive donor engagement. 6. Manage and maintain donor database. 7. Create and maintain accounts on social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) Keep up-to-date on social media trends and adapt to new platforms. 8. Edit website content and post time-sensitive material. 9. Develop and implement effective donation drives and events. 10. Oversee marketing material for agency. 11. Establish and maintain relationships with local political representatives. 12. Represent organization in local business and community networking events. D. Job Specifications: 1. Bachelor degree in related field preferred. 2. Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. 3. Proficient in graphic arts and related software. 4. Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 5. Effective public speaking skills 6. Interest and thorough knowledge of agency mission. 7. Strong project management skills; ability to multitask, organize and prioritize to meet deadlines. 8. Creative, conceptual and flexible approach to manage diverse donor relationships. 9. Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) preferred.
