Location - Poway, CA
Pay - $16/HR
Shift - 1st shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM)
Duration - 6 months contract to hire
Will be working in Cleaning station (cleaning with alcohol) and stringing station (soldering-- will train) to start
Will be cross trained on a couple stations after including:
o Welding (will be using an automated machine)
o Mechanical assembly (will be using hand/power tools-- basic mechanical assembly)
o Testing station (will be using a computer in this station)
Will be working in assembly operations using hand tools, glue guns, and clamping mechanisms
Assembling radar detectors in large industrial containers.
Lifting up to 50-70 lbs (with partner if needed)
• Label each tube, put through TFS machine
• Cut on each end in machine
• Inspect cut and ensure good condition/smooth
• Measure length on table and decide to keep or take out (attention to detail)
• Cleaning process - decide if they're okay to manufacture
• Inspect caps on tube
• Secure string - steady hand, small amount of soldering
6 months- 1 year of manufacturing experience
Experience with SOPs and documentations, as well as GMP
Experience in a manufacturing packaging/warehousing environment would be considered
experience with hand and power tools is a plus
Previous machine operating experience is a plus
Must be able to use a computer efficiently
Must be open to OT
No Microscope experience is required
Soldering experience is a plus but not required
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
Ability to walk frequently
Ability to remove or lift boxes, stretch and reach with extended arms and stoop
Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 15 lbs. alone and occasionally lift
and move more than 50 lbs. with assistance
• Everything will be trained - how to perform tasks at each step, data entry for their systems, etc.
• Want someone with attention to detail, willingness to learn each step
