Job Title Business Intelligence Developer Location ndash Remote then in St. Louis once Covid is over Duration ndash multi-year, ongoing Please do not send any resumes over 6 pages, you can remove the one page summary No H1's EXPERIENCE BASEBACKGROUND 2+ years of development and administration of Power BI OBIEE 5+ years of technicaldevelopment experience in an IT role. 3+ years of experience with data acquisition using SQL, Oracle preferred. 1+ year of working in a cloud data architecture, Google Cloud Platform Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science or comparable field is preferred. Experienced at administering and configuring a Power BI environment as well as creating datasets and dashboards Excellent communication skills. Our primary users are in Finance and Marketing as well as senior executives. Candidates should be able to speak to all levels, both technically when required as well as high level and non-technical to the user base. A record of accomplishment as part of a diverse project team tackling complex problems Scope of Responsibilities Help grow our Business Intelligence landscape. Work closely with partner resources to transfer knowledge, develop processes, and build internal capabilities around BI. Function as part of a project team to translate business needs in to action. Work iteratively with IT and business to create both specs and content from concepts and ideas. We have an established BI landscape today utilizing multiple tools so some knowledge of existinglegacy BI tools preferred. Communicate effectively at a high level including non-technical users as well as to communicate detailed requirements and troubleshoot with technical users. The ability to build data models and metadata layers, as our users are very knowledgeable in producing their own dashboards and reports. We will be using Power BI to connect to both established Oracle databases as well as Big Query so knowledge of both on-prem and off-prem style of reporting is expected. While our users are quite adept, sometimes our needs are more technical than basic users can build. Work closely with the business community as an expert to train them on how to build models and dashboards as well as stepping in and taking ownership when the level of complexity is higher than they can handle.
