                POSITION SUMMARY:

                The Director Product Portfolio Analytics & Insights will drive together with Product Managers, Portfolio Enablement, and Global Ops/Supply Chain to design strategies to maximize key product growth areas and reduced portfolio complexity.

                The individual will work closely with the Product Management teams and will develop cross category product related strategies. With focus on providing analytic insights and in concert with Director - Product Portfolio Enablement ensure that strategies are achievable, efficiently executed, and integrated to Global Ops/Supply Chain objectives.

                Also, the role will support the Product Management teams with portfolio level analytics and lead the Product Management Coordination to support the Global SIOP Process


                Lead, with Product Managers to develop cross-category Product Portfolio Strategies for Elastomer Closure Components, Delivery and Self Injection, related supporting technologies and packaging. Including:

                • Achieving Growth Platform Targets
                • Complexity and Cost Reduction Targets
                • Alignment with Commercial Products, Market Unit, and Operations/Supply Chain Management Organizations
                • Lead, with Portfolio Enablement group and Product Managers to develop Portfolio enablement programs to achieve related agreed product strategies.
                • Development and ongoing support of Commercial Products Key Metrics.
                  • Create reports/dashboards
                  • Provide Analytic and Insights through review of product data and connection to product strategies
                  • Support Enablement Team with key metric creation, tracking, and insights
                • Lead/Responsible for Commercial Product inputs to Global Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (S/IOP) function
                  • Develop/Manage Commercial Products structure to ensure product strategies, enablement activities, and objectives are provided to Global S/IOP in effective manner
                  • Work Closely with Product Managers and OPS/SCM management to ensure comprehensive cross category manufacturing strategy is in place for strat plan horizon.
                  • Including driving strategy to achieve overall growth and margin expectations.
                • Working knowledge of regulations and new guidance's, standards such as ISO, & new market trends especially around combination products/medical device regulations.
                • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.

                REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: List required education level and/or equivalent experience and any required skills or certifications consistent with West's leveling guidelines.

                • Education: Bachelor's in technical area i.e. biology, chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, etc.
                • Experience: 10+ years of experience in B2B markets requiring a high degree of technical selling and regulatory understanding. Demonstrated increasing responsibility in Product Management, Strategic Marketing, or Business Development.

                PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: List any preferred education, skills, and/or experience.

                • Commercial and marketing background must be coupled with good technical understanding and excellent knowledge of injectable drugs and self-administration.
                • Technical education
                • 2 years' experience in operations, supply chain, process/manufacturing engineering a plus
