Managerial Accountant Harrison Steel Castings Co.
Harrison Steel Castings Co. has an opening for a Managerial Accountant to help manage and project costs of our inputs and maintain profitability of our operations. Responsibilities include managing our cost accounting systems designed to accurately measure costs associated with the production of steel castings and supporting services, as well as supporting the accounting department with month end close duties. The position also drives our quoting system for new products and modifications to products. Additionally, the position is responsible for organizing and driving continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization. Reporting to the Controller, the Managerial Accountant job has no supervisory duties.
A bachelor's degree is required. It requires coursework in finance, accounting, math, economics, engineering or related field is helpful. Experience in managerial accounting or industrial engineering, and manufacturing experience with an analytical background is preferred.
