Laboratory Blood Bank Technician and Technologist
DIRECT HIRE AVAILABLE: Our client, a leading healthcare system, has an immediate need for several Laboratory Blood Bank Technician and Technologist.
Hours: Monday - Friday , 2nd & 3rd shift with rotating weekends
2nd shift hours : 5 days, 8. 0-hour shift (2:00 pm – 11:30 pm)
3rd shift hours : 4 days, 10. 0-hour shift (9:00 pm -7:00 am)
Position Summary/Essential Duties:
Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post- analytical processes for moderate and high complexity testing (bench work process, process specimen and analysis)
Position Requirements:
Blood Bank – Laboratory experience
Education Requirements:
Medical Lab Technician – Associate degree in a biological or chemical science or requirements specific in CLIA ‘ 88
Medical Lab Tech Certification (MLT) from the American Society of Clinical Pathology
Medical Technologist – Bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical science or requirements specific in CLIA ’88; Graduate from a certified MT program
Medical Technologist Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology
