GP Strategies engages in a wide variety of professionals to design and develop performance improvement/marketing programs for the Automotive OEMs
SUMMARY: Oversees and collaborates with instructional designers, copywriters, production teams and graphic designers to write, design, pitch, propose and implement creative projects to meet stated needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Fully understands and exploits the ideas and opinions of team members in a respectful/critical manner.
Supervises and inspires the creative team to generate multiple concepts for a project.
Develops creative programs that meet the established business objectives.
Provides quality control over projects and deliverables, including proofing, reviewing, and evaluating success of final product.
Works with the account and project managers to execute programs on time and within budget.
Learns new skills and strategies and how to apply those to future projects.
Manages outside resources, including vendors, photographers, printers, freelancers, web and interactive sub-contractors.
Manages art direction, design, copywriting and production of projects.
3+ years of experience working with the automotive industry in a production, creative direction or similar role
General knowledge of the retail and wholesale automotive industry
Expertise in automotive digital retailing a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
Presentation skills are a plus
Bachelor's Degree in relevant marketing field preferred
GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle.
