          The Business Liaison Consultant 4 / Relationship Management Supplier Spend Optimization and Expense Management role will be responsible for reducing overall complexity and expense overhead by managing demand of suppliers for the Deposit and Credit Bureau Management Office (DCBMO). The successful candidate will develop and propose a spend operating model that ensures sustained and consistent disciplines to manage demand for enterprise-wide supplier relationships; optimize discussions through the natural life cycle of contract renewals; price reductions, champion challenge, free proof of concepts and good faith discounts; reduce operational complexity and syndicate consistent practices and structure across enterprise business engagements; interrogation of demand, opportunistic intervention, preferred provider advancement; identify and act upon opportunities to disrupt the natural life-cycle of contract renewals; work with cross line of business functions including Finance and Sourcing, to develop financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for Deposit & Credit Bureau Management Office (DCBMO) suppliers. 

          **Preference for role to be located in one of the posted locations; however, consideration will be given to candidates across the Wells Fargo Consumer Lending Shared Services footprint.  Relocation assistance is not available for this position.  



          Required Qualifications

          • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business operations, implementation, or strategic planning; or 7+ years of legal experience which includes the review, evaluation and response to agency, law firm, or regulatory inquiries



          Desired Qualifications

          • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
          • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
          • Knowledge and understanding of technical documentation
          • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills
          • Ability to lead without authority within a matrixed environment



          Other Desired Qualifications
          • Knowledge of risk platforms, such as Security Planning & Assessment of Risks/Controls (SPARC), Third Party Information Management Systems (TRIMS) 
          • Knowledge and understanding of working with third parties on request for proposals (RFPs) or request for information (RFI)
          • Experience managing vendors with high regulatory requirements and operational/strategic dependency
          • Demonstrated relationship management experience in an operations environment 
          • Contract Management, Negotiation and Demand Management experience
          • Expense and Financial Management/ Account Management
          • Advanced knowledge in Strategic Sourcing
          • Independently delivers assigned initiatives, ensuring business requirements are defined and met
          • Experience building, leading and integrating cross-functional teams 
          • Demonstrated change management skills with ability to successfully transform a business while delivering superior results and execution


          Job Expectations

          • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
