Official Job Description:
QA Inspection, reporting, approval/release, record keeping for raw materials, in process and finished goods testing.
Detailed administrative record keeping and filing of all QA activities as required, including generation of CofA's and data entry into the Laboratory Information Management system (LIMS).
Determine and calculate batch adjustments as necessary, mathematical and bench blends.
Prepare and standardize reagents, maintain stock of supplies and chemicals, write up requisitions.
Maintain lab instruments, equipment and apparatus in good condition. Calibrate as directed and keep records.
PRISM entry of analytical values, PRISM transactions as required by QA; nonconformance tracking in PRISM and Access.
Participate in customer complaint and process incident investigations.
Participate in Plant Safety Program effort, specifically lab/office safety team and BST/Winners. Responsible for Assembly Area 1 duties (roll call) during evacuations and drills.
Participate in ISO 9001:2000 Quality System improvement process.
Contact and communicate with raw material suppliers, customers, Rhodia customer satisfaction representatives, as necessary.
Identify your internal and external customer and develop skills for working effectively
Train new technicians as necessary.
Good housekeeping discipline.
Collect, segregate and empty hazardous lab waste.
Quality Assurance, Quality Control, QA, QC, Raw Materials, Testing, Batch, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical, GC, HPLC
Open to BS degree in Sci - Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, etc.
AS or HS with work experience in a Lab - if they can articulate what they do know and capabilities to learn- can train them on HPLC or GC
Plus - would be if they have HPLC or GC
Needs to be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts (including nights or weekends)
