EXCEPTIONAL (PRN) RNs & LPNs - IMMEDIATE START

Allegiance Home Care, a Care Advantage Company is seeking compassionate, service oriented, Trach/Vent Private Duty RNs & LPNs in select markets throughout VA to include Sterling, VA and surrounding areas. Responsibilities of the Private Duty Nurse:

• Provide nursing care based on the patient's plan of care and assessed needs
• Prepare clinical progress notes for the patient's record
• Assist the patient and family in learning appropriate self-care techniques
• Report any changes in the patient's condition to the supervising RN
• Administer patient treatments and medications as prescribed by their physician
• Observe client's physical, mental, and emotional conditions

Skills/Licenses Required:

• Possess a valid RN & LPN license in the state of VA
• Minimum of 1-year experience
• CPR
• Ventilator and Tracheotomy care
• Gastrostomy tube care
• Dispensing medications
