After your shift
When your shift is over, you’ll be asked to clock out and confirm your hours on the Shifts app or website. Make sure your hours are accurate, even if you left early or were asked to stay late. The shift manager will confirm your hours once they are submitted.
Be sure to submit hours as you leave your shift. Waiting to do this step may result in a delayed payment for the hours you worked.
After your shift, you and the shift manager will each rate the experience.
You'll be able to provide feedback based on the management, pace/difficulty of the shift, tasks and duties, team members, communication, and more. If you liked the shift and the manager, give it a thumbs-up, and let us know what you liked about it! If you didn’t like your shift, give a thumbs down with your feedback about what you didn’t like, and you’ll be able to tell us if you still want to work for that location or brand.
The manager will also provide feedback for you. This is based on your punctuality, adherence to dress code, energy, friendliness, and performance.
If the shift manager gives you a thumbs down, you may not be able to pick up shifts at that business again.
We want all workers to have a positive work experience at all the businesses they work for. Please submit honest feedback — we’ll be reading and keeping tabs! Shift managers will not see feedback you provide directly, and we’ll never attribute feedback shared with businesses to any specific Shifts workers.
When your shift is over, clock out and confirm your hours. Waiting to do this step later could delay your payment for the shift.
Once a manager confirms your hours, your pay will be added to your total for that pay cycle. Hours submitted and approved by the end of day Monday for the previous week will be paid on Friday. That payment will be via direct deposit to the bank information you provided in your Shifts profile.
Reminder: If payday falls on a bank holiday, you may experience a slight delay in your payroll deposit.
