Housekeeper/ Limpieza de habitaciones

Descripción de trabajo:

Responsable de mantener la limpieza y la apariencia visual de las habitaciones así como asegurarse que cumplir con los estándares de calidad de la compañía.

Sus tareas y responsabilidades de trabajo incluyen:

• Cambiar sabanas diariamente.


• Aspirar la alfombra.


• Sacudir muebles incluyendo espejos, cabeceras de cama, lámparas, televisiones, guardarropas, etc.


• Remover manchas de los espejos, ventanas y otras superficies similares.


• Asegurarse de que la habitación esté abastecida con los materiales necesarios para así cumplir con los requerimientos que una habitación implica.


• Reportar de manera oportuna cualquier daño a la propiedad que necesite cualquier tipo de reparación.

Requerimientos y Cualidades deseadas:

Experiencia:

Experiencia previa en limpieza de habitaciones es indispensable. Debe contar con la habilidad de servicio al cliente y facilidad para interactuar con el resto de los asociados del hotel y los huéspedes de una manera respetuosa y amigable. 

Disponibilidad:

Debe estar disponible para trabajar fines de semana.

Habilidades:

Debe poder comunicarse en el idioma inglés.

Habilidades Físicas:

Debe poder cargar, empujar y jalar peso moderado a diario. Debe poder estar de pie por prolongados periodos de tiempo.

Housekeeper

Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and visual appeal of guest rooms as well as ensuring that rooms comply with company standards

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Changing bed linens daily


• Vacuuming carpeting


• Dusting all furniture including pictures, bed frames, lamps, televisions, dressers, etc.


• Removing markings and smudges from mirrors, windows, and other shiny surfaces


• Cleaning the bathroom area including the shower, sink, toilet, and floor


• Ensuring that the room is stocked with standard materials and meets all room set-up requirements


• Reporting any facility damages or necessary repairs in a timely fashion

Desired Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience:  Previous housekeeping experience preferred; should possess great customer service skills and the ability to interact with the rest of the hotel staff and guests in a friendly and service oriented manner

Availability:  Must be able to work weekends

Skills:  Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish fluently

Physical:  Must be able to lift, push, and pull moderate weight on a daily basis. Must be able to be on his or her feet for prolonged periods of time
