About this job
Spartan Staffing has an immediate need for Quality Lab Technicians in Springfield, TN. These individuals primary duty are to MIG weld cut and etch testing.
Job Duties/Requirements:
- Conducts various test methods such as destruct and ultrasonic testing
- Verifies product quality using lab equipment, vision, measuring tools, gauges, and fixtures
- Performs mechanical tests on products to assure strength and micro-hardness are met
- Maintains records and logs
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to learn lab equipment and follow lab procedures
- Knowledge of calibration system
- Knowledge of TS16949 and ISO14001 standards
This is a temporary to hire position, paying $10 per hour to start, 3rd shift. Must be able to work overtime.
