Scheduling Coordinator

Senior Helpers has an immediate need for a Part Time or Full Time Scheduling Coordinator.

Objective: To coordinate caregiver schedules and ensure client's needs are fulfilled.

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers based on assessment information and care plan information for new and existing clients.
  • Maintain all scheduling of caregivers and respond to situations where scheduling conflicts, emergencies and/or "call outs" arise.
  • Company schedule must be complete for the next business day/weekend before leaving for the day.
  • Accept on-call duty averaging one-two weeks per month and as directed by the President.
  • Contact clients on a periodic basis to receive feedback to ensure the service is meeting the goals outlined in the care plan.
  • Respond promptly to any client complaints, document complaints, and review complaints with the Client Service Manager.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including monitoring staffing needs, interviewing applicants, and hiring applicants.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year in a staffing/scheduling position, preferably in homecare or home healthcare.
  • Professional experience in the field of customer service.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, possesses excellent client interaction skills, able to multi-task and work independently.
  • Knowledge of Soneto scheduling software is a plus
  • Must have driver’s license and car.

Hourly wage will depend on experience and skill level, with benefits and quarterly bonuses also available.
