Spartan Staffing has a need for several Shipping/Receiving positions with a company located in Des Moines, IA. Our customer is seeking, workers with forklift or pallet jack experience. These are temp to hire positions on 1st shift 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday. Maximum Pay is $10.50 per hour.
Job Duties:
-unload product from trucks, pallets and move merchandise to stock or selling floor, using forklift and or pallet jack
- Assist with Customer Deliveries
- Manual labor includes lifting 75 lbs and clean up
- other duties as assigned
Job Requirements of Qualified Candidates - Must Have :
- Ability to read a tape measure, calipers and depth gauges
- Must have valid drivers license, clean motor vehicle report
- Great communication skills and can demonstrate a professionally friendly attitude
- Neat appearance, no visible tatoo or extreme piercings
- Complies with safety regulations and wears appropriate safety equipment ( steel toe boots)
- Physically fit and able to stand, bend, reach and lift 50 lbs during a shift
- Willing to submit to a background check
- Willing to submit to a drug screen
