Staff - Part-time

This is a representative list of the general duties a Scooter's Jungle Part-time staff member may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Responsibilities include:
* Cheerfully and energetically working in a children's inflatable recreation environment; making sure guests are aware of the safety rules before entering the play areas; enforcing the safety rules; laying organized games with children; serving and cleaning up food, and enthusiastically working to provide a memorable guest experience.
*  Working in a kitchen environment serving fresh food; collaborating with fellow staff members to keep the experience memorable for the guests; complying with safety and security programs in place at the time of employment as well as new rules that help promote same; complying with recipes in place and follow the training given that certifies knowledge and understanding of the proper steps necessary to be successful in the position; serving and cleaning up food, and enthusiastically working to provide a memorable guest experience.
*   Work in the kitchen preparing hot food according to order sheet in a timely fashion.
*  Welcoming guests and checking them in and out.
*  Possibly working with our point of sales system to handle financial transactions and enthusiastically working to provide a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications:
*  Ability to command the respect and attention of children and adults giving direction to children and adults
*  Memorizing safety rules and relaying them in an energetic and informative way that requires the attention of everyone listening.
*  Standing for long periods of time.
*  Playing on inflatable equipment -- requiring physical stamina to engage in exercise and / or lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods of time.
*  Climbing stairs several times a day (including inflated equipment).
*  Ability to work without direct supervision.
*  Tolerance and understanding of different cultures and communication techniques.
*  Truly enjoys playing organized games with children.
*  Strong, outgoing demeanor with people of all ages.
* Strong public relations skills.
* Communicates well with the public, in a positive, friendly manner.
* The ability to follow specific directions on food preparation and give suggestions for improvement.
* The ability to take direction from superiors and follow through on the direction
* The ability to follow safety policies to promote an injury free work environment
* Good communication skills and follow through with peers
* Working in a warm temperature environment (kitchen)
* Weekend availability is critical
