Created in April 2011, Melt Shop is an up and coming fast casual restaurant specializing in serving high-end products, including our groundbreaking approach to recreating the world’s most famous sandwich, the grilled cheese. Our main location is based in Midtown Manhattan and has gained widespread notoriety by the press and customers alike, for our one of a kind variations of the grilled cheese, our hand-crafted milkshakes, and irresistible tater tots.
Melt Shop is a small, yet rapidly expanding company. Job Description – Kitchen Manager
- Melt Shop is seeking candidates that are passionate about food and the restaurant business. As a Kitchen Manager you must be passionate about working alongside and leading others. We need you to be a positive example and role model to all others employees by displaying hard work and dedication to serving the best quality product possible. You must be able to think on your feet and readily solve problems that may occur throughout the day. Most of all we are looking for a Kitchen Manager who is eager to grow with the company and is always willing to take on new responsibilities.

- Scheduling Shifts
- Ordering Food/Keeping track of Inventory
- Creating food prep lists
- Running Service
- Cooking on the line
- Expediting
- Coordinating deliveries
- Customer relations
- Cleaning and organizing the store
