We have a full-time opening for a Data Entry/Customer Service.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.

30 year old company, providing consumer financing to businesses throughout North America is hiring for 5 data entry/customer service reps to start training by 5/8/13.
The company has over 200 employees and works with many top companies in a variety of industries including security systems, home cleaning systems, cookware, floor care, and pet products.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Data Entry/Customer Service
#1 Objective of this job is to process inbound instant credit calls, data entry of finance contracts and providing superior customer service as the first contact with customers.
Main duties include:
1. Taking inbound calls from field sales representatives that are calling to establish instant credit for a customer who is interested in purchasing a specific product.
Data entry of customer information into credit application to submit for immediate approval or denial
Average volume of calls is 750 a day for the center
2. Present results of credit application to sales representative. If the credit application is denied must inform sales representative. Need to have strong customer service skills and be very patient and empathetic to sales representative taking the denial information. Must explain in detail the options for the client and that the credit application might still be approved just not for the instant credit.
If the credit application is approved you will then speak with the customer directly to confirm the information and explain the details for the financing contract. Answer any additional customer questions regarding the financing.
3. Documenting all information in the system and completing any additional paperwork that is needed to process application or send application for further review.
Skills required:
- PC familiarity and experience in Windows environment
- Excellent customer service/telephone skills
- Strong data entry skills. Must have 8,000ksph alpha numeric and 10-key with high accuracy
- Clear pronunciation/articulation of all words
- Complete business etiquette and professionalism towards co-workers/customers.
- Ability to stay focused and multi-task entering in customer information and calling
- Prior call center experience a plus
Tough/challenging part of job:
1. Repetitiousness of activity- doing the same activity and process over and over all day
2. Dealing with situations that come up that have not been trained or coached on.
SHIFTS: FULL-TIME EVENING /WEEKEND
Full-time shifts ONLY:
Shifts are four days a week Monday through Friday and Saturday
The available shifts are:
4:30pm-12:00am
3:30pm-11:00pm
You will have a set schedule with one day a week off and every Saturday is mandatory.
TRAINING
One week of paid training.
Training will run Monday through Friday your first week of employment
Training will be done at the same time as the shift you will be working either 4:30pm-12:00am or 3:30pm-11:00pm
Day one and two in classroom training regarding systems and services.
Day three and four shadowing on the floor with experienced agents and supervised on calls
Day five on the floor taking calls
COMPENSATION
Customer Service Reps (CSR):
$10.00-$11.00 hr based on experience
