MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
A very reputable and one of the largest providers of factory coated bolted storage tanks within our area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic. For this position you must be able to work 10 hour days Monday through Thursday with OT on Friday's and possible weekends. This is a 2nd shift position. This is a great temp to hire opportunity with Union benefits.

Position Details:

Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of industrial equipment
-
Dismantle, repair and troubleshoot mechanical equipment
-
Work independently, follow written and verbal instructions and work cooperatively with personnel.

Effectively complete work orders
-
Knowledge of the operation, preventive maintenance and repair of a wide variety of equipment
-
5 plus years 480 volt experience in industrial electrical background including installation and repair.

Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment
-
Read blueprints and troubleshoot repairs on various pieces of equipment
-
Be proficient welding, torching and use of a plasma cutter
-
3-5 years experience using power tools, measuring tools, platform lifts and boom lift
-
Mechanical ability to repair complex pieces of equipment to original specifications
-
Be able to install new and used equipment
-
Repair hydraulic and pneumatic controls
-
Ability to install gas piping, air lines, hydraulic piping and manifolds
-
Building maintenance responsibilities
-
Documents repair and PM procedures
-
Participates in continuous improvement and special projects
-
Required to drive a sit down forklift
-
Will need to supply own small personal hand tools.
