The Conference Service Manager is responsible for the following:
- Coordination of all group business as developed by the sales management team. Determination and coordination of all event planning needs including group rooms.
- Responsible for effective communication with the various departments to ensure meetings and related functions are executed to the client’s expectations.
- Develop strong customer relationship through appropriate client communication and use of professional , courteous and ethical interpersonal interaction
- Represent hotel and themselves with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, a service-focused approach and a sincere attitude all the time.
- Generate resumes and present them to the operational staff.
- Generate event orders in CI/TY (Marriott System) and diagrams in Meeting Matrix for accurate room layouts.
- Servicing of meeting space, sleeping rooms and rooming lists.
- Meet with the client once on-site to ensure needs are met.
- Lead pre/post-com meetings with the client and introduce them to the key players of the hotel.
- Review the group’s master billing with the client.
- Work closely with the hotel operations staff to ensure guest satisfaction is achieved at all events and meetings.
- Up-sell catering amenities.
- Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management.
Must be dedicated, organized, detail-oriented individuals with a four year college degree, and previous CSM experience; prior Marriott experience preferred. Applicant will possess a professional presentation, and superior customer service skills.
