Assistant Teacher

Our Assistant Teachers take on a dynamic role that shifts between acting as a role model for the students and working to maintain a clean and safe classroom environment. Along with having a passion for excellence in child care, our Assistant Teachers also share a desire to spark imagination, build self-esteem and create an environment of discovery in each classroom. Typical responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, assisting with creating and implementing the daily lesson plan, documenting learning activities and projects, joining students during meal and snack times to model table manners and working with the Director and Assistant Director to maintain school security at all times.

PLEASE READ: We staff our schools with a core group of full-time employees as well as numerous part-time employees (less than 32 hours per week). When full-time positions become available in our schools, we try to consider our current part-time employees who are seeking full-time employment. If you are not willing to consider part-time work, please indicate this on your application, otherwise your application will be considered for any full and part-time opportunities as they become available.

This Tutor Time location may or may not be hiring at this time. Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, you must meet all state licensing requirements, including:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have High School diploma or GED
  • Must have previous experience working in a licensed child care facility
