We are currently hiring Sheet Metal Workers for an upcoming project in West Des Moines, IA.  This is an outstanding opportunity with a reputable manufacturing company.

Install and assemble pipes, tubes heating and air conditioning ducts furnace casings

Select gauges and types of sheet metal according to job specifications

Drill and punch holes in metal for screws and rivet

Fasten seams and joints together

Fasten or alter parts at site using shears, hammers, punches and drills.

Trim file grind buff smooth surfaces seams and joints of assembled parts using hand tools and portable tools

 

Job Requirements:

It is preferred that the candidate has the following tools,

Hard Hat, steel toe boots, tape measure, pocket leveler, channel lock, hammer, screw driver, various crescent wrenches, allen wrenches, copper cutter, tin snips, various sizes.

Willing to submit to drug screen and background check

 

Experience preferred - 2years Sheet Metal Experience

Pay rate : based on experience

Shift/Hours: long term temporary Monday - Friday  7 am to 3 pm
