About this job
We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Shipping and Receiving.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
Shipping and Receiving Clerk needed.
T he ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Previous experience working in a job shop.
- Familiar with machining and measurement tools used in a tooling orientated shop.
- Must have the ability to read prints and understand metric measurements.
- Capable of performing inspection of parts and work on various machine tools when the shipping and receiving is done.
- Will be polishing and grinding, as well as using a variety of hand tools.
- Fill out and file all paperwork.
- Order all shop supplies.
- Maintain inventory records as needed.
- Clean up as required.
- Assist in filing of documents and papers.
- Lift truck experience is preferred.
- High school or GED is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess a willingness to learn.
- Great math skills and the ability to understand metric dimensions is a must.
- Must be able to read blue prints and lift up to 50lbs.
- Knowledge with UPS online pro is a plus.
- Flexibility to work overtime is required.
