The Manager Field Marketing is responsible for the flawless execution of local store marketing efforts for Buffalo Wild Wings/Bagger Dave’s locations. The Field Marketing Manager supports restaurant management teams, outlines marketing opportunities in their trade area, assists management teams in executing tactics, acts as the liaison between the company and the community, visits restaurants to ensure the proper promotional materials are being displayed, and serves as the local marketing expert. This position requires 50-75% travel along with varying work schedule including weekends. This position is critical to Diversified Restaurant Holdings; the Manager Field Marketing providing on-going development and execution of grassroots marketing initiatives to delight guests and achieve company goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Focus

  • Assists the Marketing Department team in the execution of all programs and initiatives.
  • Participates in operations conference calls acting as the representative for the marketing department on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Identifies and introduces new ideas and solutions to continuously improve the operation of the marketing department.
  • Forms strong working relationships within team.
  • Supports leadership with special projects on as needed basis.

Marketing

  • Monitors and ensures brand integrity 100% of the time.
  • Develops, executes and manages all Local Store Marketing Plans with the Managing Partner to drive sales and maximize profitability.
  • Manages and ensures compliance with BWW/Bagger Dave’s Corporate on all national, regional and local campaigns.
  • Acts as a collaborative team member and assists store management in selecting appropriate sponsorships within store budget.
  • Develops monthly POP line ups to ensure proper branding and sales building materials are being used in stores.
  • Executes monthly store visits to ensure compliance with all marketing programs, including; POP audits, follow-up on store action plans, etc.
  • Maintains, manages, monitors and updates all social media and websites pertaining to our brands including; Facebook, Google, etc.
  • Executes and manages all duties pertaining to live entertainment programs, including; NTN programs, Live Trivia, Music, etc.
  • Assists in the management of the marketing budget by ensuring that all relevant transactions are current and accurate. Reconciles budget the first day of the month for the prior month.
  • Reviews region sales on a daily basis and appropriately assesses store marketing needs.
  • Establishes and nurtures community relationships with local Chamber of Commerce, Visitors/Convention Bureau, Downtown Business Alliances, local schools, youth organizations, etc.
  • Supervises Marketing Champion Program at each store location and develops ongoing enhancements to ensure quarterly and Game Plan objectives are met.
  • Assists in New Restaurant Openings by completing the following; creating a work task list, procuring all marketing materials, conducting trade area surveys, setting all digital platforms, developing additional signage or marketing materials, partnering with operations on Beer/Alcohol program and developing menu, coordinating all components of the Grand Opening process, coordinating and deploying press releases and media appearances or radio remotes.
  • Communicates art requests to ad agency when applicable to develop appropriate and accurate promotional messaging/materials.
  • Executes marketing campaigns with measurable outcomes determined in advance and evaluates results and modifies accordingly.
