Print Room Manager - Full-time

Central Oregon Print to Mail company is in search of an experienced Print Room Manager. This opportunity is available for those applicants who meet the following:

* 3-5 years experience in Managerial/Supervisory position
* Extensive knowledge of digital, pre-press work and bindery
* Working knowledge of MAC and PC versions of Quark, Photoshop, Corel, Illustrator, AccuZip
and Fusion Pro personalization and variable data
* Is a team player with a commitment to excellence
* Has attention to detail
* Previous postal/direct mail experience a plus
* The ability to read and understand written work sheets and sample packages
* The ability to communicate and work efficiently with other employees and management
from diverse ethnic backgrounds

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

* Handle all production and customer related issues including tracking of jobs
* Distribute time sensitive work tickets to employees
* Monitor the progression and accuracy of all print jobs
* Follow all Quality Control policies and procedures to ensure print jobs are accurate compared
to specs
* Supervise 1-2 employees and responsible for hiring, scheduling and performance evaluations

Languages:

The ability to read, write and understand job instructions, correspondence, reports, memos and policies of the English language. Some translation skills, knowledge of minority language(s) is helpful to communicate with associates and customers a plus but not mandatory.

This is salaried position. Compensation is $36k annually and negotiable upon experience.
