Summary:

Responsible for supporting District Manager and management team. Expected to assist District Manager in all aspects of overseeing total store operations including developing partnerships with General Managers, monitoring safety practices, training employees and managers, and analyzing the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Daily check/walk-though of restaurants
  • File and track progress/repeat behavior/issues
  • Be a safety steward
  • Work directly with the teams to ensure we meet all SNHD & Brand requirements
  • Continually train staff on safe food handling
  • Assist in evaluating hourly staff members
  • Daily schedule and labor review (schedule vs. actual).
  • Assist with forecasting/trend tracking
  • Assist in collateral building (design skills/knowledge preferred)
  • Assist in auditing the personnel files (I9 check, make sure write ups are documented etc.)
  • Audit safes to make sure cash handling policies are followed
  • Monitor “secret-shopper” program
  • Develop a customer feedback program
  • Record and take meeting minutes for the weekly GM Meeting

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. 

Qualifications

  • Must have valid driver’s license of the state in which employed.
  • No more than 2 moving violations within the last 36 months
  • No serious motor vehicle violations (DUI, DWI, reckless driving, etc.)
  • Must have valid health card in applicable states
  • Able to successfully pass background investigation, pre-employment personality screening and drug testing.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

Computer Literacy preferred in: Word processing, Spreadsheets (Excel), E-mail, Manufacturing software, Database software.

Mechanical Skills:

There is a basic knowledge of equipment and repair necessary for this job classification.

Other Qualifications:

  • Organizational skills – Organize activities, prioritize for optimal customer service and most efficient use of company resources
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to coach and supervise other drivers
