   This is a temp-to-hire position with an hourly pay rate plus substantial commission working in an in-bound call center environment.  Callers are typically responding to television or internet advertisement and are ready to buy.  We need associates that can establish trust with the caller quickly, answer questions, educate the consumer, and close the sale.  If this is you, read on.

     Partnership Staffing has an excellent opportunity for the right individual.  Our client is a large, exciting consumer-products company located in Colonial Heights, VA, that takes great pride in providing exceptional customer service. Top employees make $65,000 per year; average employees make between $50,000 and $55,000 per year, first year associates make between $40,000 and $45,000 per year.  Our client’s marketing efforts bring the interested buyers to you by phone...you just need to educate the buyer and help them buy the product that best fits them.   These are well made products with national brand recognition.  This position comes with a base salary of $18,000-$20,000 per year (hourly), excellent training, and exceptional commission structure.

    The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be to accept incoming calls regarding product inquiries and place customer orders.  General customer service with the highest regard to consumer satisfaction is a must. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication with a varied population.

    Prior VERIFIABLE sales experience is required.  Business to Business sales experience is preferred but high end retail sales such as new car sales, communications products, home security systems, and even fundraising experience could qualify you for this outstanding opportunity.

The tone, demeanor and voice are very important in speaking with the clients along with a great deal of patience as you educate the potential buyer on their options.

The operating hours of the call center are Monday through Sunday, 12noon to 11pm; you must be available for these hours to be considered for this position...working a 40 hour week.

     Job Requirements:

     Education and Experience:

High School diploma required, some college preferred.

High end Sales/Management experience is REQUIRED.

Telemarketing experience is not necessary.

"CONSUMER GOODS" SALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - examples of this would be home products such as security systems and maintenance service, automobile sales, insurance (life, health, home owners) or     financial services. Direct sales experience with cellular devices, food & beverage items, or media sales. This is not for the average retail sales person.

        Communication:

    Excellent verbal and written skills.

    Excellent phone skills - ability to build rapport.

    Computer fluent - including Windows programs.

                Personal Characteristics:

    Energetic, motivated and enthusiastic.  Detail-oriented with superior time management skills while responding well to team or corporate goals.  Able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
