Driver

Driver will be responsible for delivering fresh bakery products to various store locations.  The delivery of these products occurs during third shift 10:30pm-5am.  Additionally drivers will: 1)Perform vehicle inspections prior to each daily route. 2)Load their truck. 3)Unload the product at various store locations. 4)Complete appropriate paperwork. 5)Re-fuel the truck at the end of their shift. 6)Interact with store employees, co-workers and customers in a courteous manner. 7)At times there will be other duties assigned by Management, Supervisors and/or Leads that must be completed.  Perform all duties in compliance with USDA or FDA, OSHA and state and local regulations and company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Drive a 20’ box truck. 
• Valid driver’s license in the state you reside
• One year truck driving experience preferred
• A clean driving record required
• Must be able to read shipping tickets
• Must be able to perform simple arithmetic skills – add, subtract and multiply
• Must have high level of job motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must pass Department of Transportation Physical Capacities exam and drug screen
• Must pass criminal background check
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs
• Bending – frequently
• Squatting – occasionally
• Stooping – occasionally
• Sitting - frequently
• Standing – frequently
