Labor Ready is currently hiring 50+ Flaggers in Fargo, ND. The position will direct an control traffic safety. This is temporary position. Job Starts on December 11,2013. APPLY NOW.
Job Duties:
- Direct and control traffic (monitoring & pedestrian ) safety in an through the work zone. Direct site equipment when working in close proximity of traffic other hazards & obstructions. Communicating & interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates MUST have the following:
- An industry standard training certificate - Flagging Certification Required, - Certification training will be available to those without certification in our office on Monday December 9th,2013.from 10am to 2pm.
- Ability take control and give firm clear directions
- Ability to work extended hours & irregular days with irregular breaks
- Ability to spend extended periods standing/walking holding stop/slow paddle, walkie/talkie, etc.
- Ability to work outdoors in all temps, Dressed in layers for warmth.
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements & applicable safety policies
- Flaggers required to wear safety equipment at all times. HH, STBs, SG, Reflective vests, and may be asked to use a paddle & radio.
- Safety conscious at all times - no cell phones
Pay is $10.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday - Sunday, shifts typically starts at 7am for 8 hours
