We are currently hiring several Machine Operators in Lakeland FL.  Great opportunity – temp-to-hire positions!        

Job Description:  Selected candidates will be responsible for assisting in the operation of the production department lines under the direct supervision of the Production Lead and Production Supervisor.   

Pay Rate:  $13.26/hour 

Shift/Hours:   Varies – work available 7 days a week!         

Job Requirements:

• Be able to operate a forklift.
• Verify equipment is in good working condition.
• Operates mixers and production machinery.
• Measure, record, and adjust equipment and oven temperatures to maintain specified product consistency.
• Mix all ingredients in proper order and proportions.
• Monitor dough (Masa) consistency and temperature.
• Properly fill out batch reports.
• Able to work different schedules, including different start time.
•   Able to withstand different climates-including high temperatures.
•    Most be able to continuously Lift, pull and push at least 50 LB
•   Most be able to stand for long periods of time.
•   Most be able to bend, grasp, push and pull.
•    Be on his/her feet for long periods of time.
•    Able to walk long distances.
•    Kneel, bend, grab, reach, pinch, fold, pick, and type.
•    Be able to climb ladders.
•    Able to work in dusty, noisy and small work areas.
•    Able to wear safety equipment for prolonged periods of time (safety glasses, respirators, safety gloves, aprons, ear plugs, etc.).
•    Able to work in temperatures 40 to 105 F.
•   Be able to clean and sanitize lines and machinery and all surroundings after shift and/or shutdown.
•   Be able to clean and sanitize staff facility such as restrooms, break room and other plant areas.
•    Perform quality analysis of product such as pH, moisture, appearance and weight analysis.
•   High School Diploma or GED
•   Good Math Skills
•   1 year of experience in processing food products preferably in a manufacturing facility.
