About this job
Ability to perform all duties associated within the glass dept, including:
- Peripherial setup, screen painting, cutting table setup and tempering
- Oven operations.
- Relieve other operators, which involves putting on and taking off glass from the tempering furnaces
- Ability to follow instructions & have good communication skills
- Must communicate problems when they are detected
- Work with limited supervision
- Must be able to rotate every 2 hours in all positions
- Follow 5-S rule and work in other areas when assigned
- Operate a forklift to support the glass department and move material around
General Requirements:
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 to 75 pounds
- Forklift license required (training)
- Excellent sense of safety awareness and good housekeeping (5S)
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Work in other areas as needed
- Industrial Maintenance Certification preferred
