Job Summary:
This position interacts with the Production Staff to maximize the value of our donation flow, locate high resale items for the E-Commerce department and coach the Production and Retail teams on product knowledge and accuracy of pricing for the store. Specific tasks will be assigned by the Production Assistant Manager and Store Manager.

Essential Functions:
Audits donated goods for quality, accuracy in pricing.
Work with Retail Store Manager and Production Manager to establish pricing guidelines, with use of the S&P, which reflect the current resale market to make necessary adjustments.
Coach and teach product knowledge to production and retail employees.
Identify valuable items to be designated for Shop Goodwill and EBay.
Meet store E-commerce sales goals.
Monitor shipments for EBay and E-commerce books to meet sales goals.
Ensure that the book scanner is downloaded with correct parameters on a daily basis.
Conduct random audits of salvage and garbage for all departments. Report findings to Production Manager.
Price quality collectibles, antiques, jewelry and other valuable items.
Act as a resource to all production employees in terms of pricing.
Partner and share with other Quality Control specialists and on line team to share and gain additional knowledge
Work with the established computer system to print tags and research product as needed.
Travel to within the region to store locations when needed.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.  Associate degree or Bachelor's preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1 year retail experience; thrift industry preferred. 
Specific Skills/Knowledge/Licenses: Knowledge of current resale markets; online and thrift. Knowledge of fashion trends.  Must have reliable transportation as this position requires some travel to store locations within the region.

Essential Physical Abilities:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for short distances. Standing for long periods of time; frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing, climbing ladders. Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain).
