We are currently seeking to hire 30 Taxi Dispatchers in the San Juan Metropolitan area. 

Job Description:   Selected individuals will be responsible for dispatching taxi drivers in the San Juan metropolitan area.  These are long term temporary positions! 

Pay Rate:  $7.25/hour 

Shift/Hours:   Several shifts available – must be able to work rotating shifts    

Job Requirements:

• Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules.
• Schedules or dispatch taxi drivers to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones.
• Oversee all communications within specifically assigned territories.
• Relay information or messages from managers and supervisors using telephones or two-way radios.
• Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service.
• Prepare daily work and run schedules.
• Record and maintain files or records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, or other dispatch information.
• Advise personnel about traffic problems, such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, or other hazards.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
