About this job
An after-school nanny is needed for this school year for a family in Skillman with three energetic, outgoing, social children - a boy age 12 and two girls ages 11 and 10.
Responsibilities include being at the home to meet the children when they get off the bus (or pick up at school on occasion); ensuring that the children have an after-school snack and clean up; providing homework help and keeping backpacks organized; and driving children to after-school activities (parents will help pay for gas).
Qualified candidates should have prior nanny/childcare experience, first aid/CPR training, have a safe vehicle and a safe driving record. Candidates also must have good judgment; be organized and be able to manage to a schedule; be energetic, patient, fun and like sports activities; know how to be both a friend and an authority figure; enjoy helping with homework and assisting with school projects; and enjoy being fully engaged with children. Three references must be provided.
Care would be needed starting immediately on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
