Remedy Intelligent Staffing is now hiring for a SMT Operator for a valued client in the Greater Madison area. Qualified candidates will have recent experience in operating a surface mount machine, as well as having a background in electronics. Responsibilities:
- Must be familiar with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components and
- SMT assembly process
- Must be able to set-up and operate automated SMT assembly equipment including
- Screen Printer, Glue Dispensing Machine, Pick and Place Machine
- Able to perform basic soldering and rework of SMT components
- Able to perform visual inspections of SMT assemblies
- Shall be accountable for quality, quantity and inspection of work performed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School or GED degree
- SMT experience required
- Basic soldering experience
- Read and interpret assembly prints
- Able to follow verbal instructions
- Able to work with speed and accuracy
