Responsibilities:

• Routine and preventative maintenance. Build, rebuild and repair all parts of automotive equipment, as may be required in the department assigned to
• Diagnose any mechanical, electrical, other breakdown or failure
• Trubleshoot and perform failure analysis of the compoents parts and systems
• Engine repair and overhaul
• Inspect equipment used
• Read precision instruments including micrometers, dial indicators, bored gauges and more
• When applicable, use welding skills
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualified candidates for the position will have met the following:

• Required:
  • Equivalent of a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair
  • Must furnish own tools
  • Valid drivers license
• Preferred:
  • Mechanical or trade school certificate
  • ASE Certificate
  • Welding and/or fabrication skills and/or experience
