JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the safe, efficient and orderly operation of department. Responsible for entire department when the Foods Manager and Assistant Manager are not available

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure operation of department including increasing per cap, lowering labor cost & lowering cost of sales.
  • Responsible for making sure the assigned area is open up on time to the guest.
  • Directly oversees training and development for all food/catering team members.
  • May have to counsel, track and discipline team members according to the company policy.
  • Ensure all paperwork is properly completed and turned in on time including, but not limited to: scheduling, payroll, sign in sheets, incident reports, temperature logs, rec. sheets & inventory sheets.
  • Responsible for making sure all employees are scheduled & units have coverage. Post schedules within the proper time frame set by the Foods Manager.
  • Resolve any guest concerns that may arise.
  • Responsible for providing guests with excellent service and quality food in a fast, safe and friendly manner.
  • Must properly operate cash register or cash apron in accordance with all cash handling procedures.
  • You will be required to pour sodas, prepare and serve food. Ensuring clean and sanitary work area at all times including, but not limited to: sweeping, wiping tables, picking up and disposing of trash.
  • If required to cook you must be able to properly serve and cook any needed food in an orderly and timely fashion.
  • Responsible for any other duties assigned by the Foods Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous food service experience preferred.
  • Must have held the Area Supervisor position.
  • Must have excellent cash handling, customer service skills, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Must possess oral and written English skills and must be able to communicate with guests and other employees effectively.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • You will also work closely with many different types of machinery. Extreme caution needs to be used at all times.
  • Available to work overtime. – If over 18 years of age and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

  • Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing and speech.

* This is a seasonal position with a maximum period of employment being twenty six weeks. Hours will vary each week. During peak season hours will typically be 20 to 40 hours a week. The employment period is not guaranteed nor are the hours.
