Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse - (NICU RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $31.50 *

This NICU is a nationally recognized leader in the treatment of critically ill infants. This state-of-the-art NICU provides 60 critical care beds for infants up to 3 months of age, and is designated a Level IIIC NICU, the highest distinction granted by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
It treats nearly 750 infants each year from Denver, surrounding areas in Colorado and a 10-state area, and is the only NICU in the region with the experience and technology to treat virtually any

The role of the neonatal intensive care nurse (NICU nurse) is to provide direct and specialized care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy. Working in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with doctors and other healthcare professionals, the NICU RNs assist in developing and implementing a plan of care for high-risk newborns requiring high-technology care, including ventilators, incubators, or other special equipment or surgery.
