Order Picking/Electric Pallet Jack Operator

North Sacramento company is seeking qualified and experienced assistance for their increased order processing/production and shipping needs. Candidates that have a successful track record in warehousing and accept responsibility for their actions are best suited for this fast-paced environment. Positions for the right, successful individual are temporary to hire.




Job Duties :

Managing and sorting products received from shipments

Assembles orders and prepares goods for outbound shipments.

Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.

Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.

Reports damages and discrepancies

Completes shipping and receiving documents. Data entry may be required.

QC product orders prior to shipment. Must be accurate and detail oriented.

Experience with RF gun for inventory control and order-picking, a plus

Job Handling and Successful Characteristic Requirements

Possess a positive attitude and drive to complete each task efficiently and accurately

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the warehouse environment.

Must have recent, relevant work experience in a warehouse

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Familiarity with pallet jacks and shrink-wrapping, a plus

Familiarity and experience with fork lifts, a plus, certification preferred, but experience more critical

Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs repeatedly

Must be able to work standing throughout shift

Must be able to adapt to, and work in a team environment

Must be able to work in fast-paced environment and be detail oriented

Must have reliable and consistent means of transportation

Must have good mathematical skills and common sense.
